On May 17, 2026, GHO brings his big band program Hermannology back to the stage where it all began. This performance, featuring the Jazzorchester Vorarlberg, is part of the ensemble's 20th-anniversary celebrations.
The program, which originally premiered at this venue in 2009, will be performed under the direction of the composer.
On February 26 at 6:30 PM, GHO’s music will be featured in the concert A Family Affair at the Austrian Cultural Forum New York (ACF NY).
His composition FREE FUGUE FOR TWO TONGUES will be introduced by the composer himself and brought to life by Matthias Schorn and Christoph Gigler, both members of the Vienna Philharmonic.

We are delighted to announce the world premiere of UMAMI - for Soprano, Mixed Ensemble and Tape on August 14, 2025, as part of TRIVIUM 2025. The composition by GHO is based on two poems by Fabjan Hafner.
The work will be performed by Eva Kumpfmüller-Lipuš (soprano), Mira Gregorič (violin), Sara Gregorič and Janez Gregorič (guitar), Helene Glüxam (double bass), Roman Pechmann (accordion), and Emanuel Lipuš (percussion), conducted by the composer.

We are delighted to announce that GHO will compose a double concerto for clarinet, trumpet and orchestra. The composition, titled EXPEDITION TO PARADISE, will be performed in October 2025 in South Tyrol and at the Wiener Konzerthaus. The soloists are Bertold Stecher, trumpeter of the Berlin Philharmonic, and Andrea Götsch, clarinettist of the Vienna Philharmonic. The Südtirol Filarmonica will be conducted by Michael Pichler.
PASSION, a composition by GHO to pictures by Gottfried Helnwein, will be performed on April 21 at the Stadttheater Wiener Neustadt by Matthias Schorn (clarinet), Christoph Gigler (tuba) and the radio.string.quartet.
Prof. Dr. Klaus Albrecht Schröder, the former director of the Albertina Museum in Vienna, will join GHO in giving an introduction to the concert.
GHO’s composition for string quartet, TOTENLIED, was released on CroworD’s album The Ignorance Cut. The piece was recorded by the Esperia Quartett at the Ölberg-Kirche in Berlin. This composition also forms the beginning of the album’s opening track Brothers.
GHO’s musical theatre »WOLF - Das Mystical« based on the libretto by Franzobel premiered in May 2024 at the newly built Salzkammergut-Seebühne on Lake Wolfgang. The show ran until the end of June. All performances were sold out. Here's to the future!
