ALICE – New Music Theatre for Musikverein Wien and Philharmonie Luxembourg

We are delighted to announce that GHO has been commissioned by the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien (Musikverein Wien) and the Philharmonie Luxembourg to compose the music for a new music theatre production, Alice.

Directed and written by Kai Anne Schumacher, the staged production is based on Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s book and brings together music, puppetry, and acting. The world premiere will take place on January 16, 2027 at the Musikverein Wien, followed by performances at the Philharmonie Luxembourg starting January 22, 2027.
